In addition to the maintenance of normal operational records like the sales, expenses, profit and loss records the companies are advised to maintain a record updating the data relating to workplace injuries and illnesses in maintaining the safety management program. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration provides various log forms to help in recording.

OSHA changes site-specific targeting criteria for 2004

Article Abstract:

United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration introduces a new criteria for identifying the high-hazard worksites for inspection within its site-specific targeting program. The primary change in the 2004 plan is the introduction of a DART system, which looks at injuries or illness that puts workers away from the job or any work activity.
