Successful planned pregnancy following endometrial ablation with the YAG laser

Article Abstract:

Doctors report a woman who successfully gave birth to a health baby 12 years after having extensive laser surgery inside her uterus to treat excessive uterine bleeding. Several years later she began having normal monthly menstrual periods and decided to have a baby after doctors confirmed that her uterus would be able to support a baby.

Hepatic vascular calcification: an early second trimester sonographic feature of idiopathic infantile arterial calcinosis

Article Abstract:

Doctors describe using ultrasound during the second trimester of pregnancy to detect arterial calcinosis in the fetus. Normally this condition is not diagnosed until the third trimester. Arterial calcinosis is caused by excessive calcium deposits inside arteries.

Small-volume amnioinfusion: a potential stimulus of intrapartum fetal heart rate accelerations

Article Abstract:

A small-volume amnioinfusion apparently evokes fetal heart rate accelerations suggesting fetal well - being, thus allowing the progressive labor that culminates in the vaginal delivery of a healthy infant. Fetal heart rate accelerations denote fetal well-being.
