Surveillance and management of salmonella food poisoning

Article Abstract:

The media attention surrounding the recent call of seven Cadbury's chocolate products due to a leaking pipe causing possible contamination with Salmonella Montevideo highlights the public concern. The nature, frequency and supervision of this public health problem are studied and the importance of surveillance is focused upon.
