Taking stock of PPMs

Article Abstract:

Many doctors sold their practices to physician practice management companies (PPMs) in the summer of 1996, as many publicly traded PPMs were offering high earnings. However, there has been a downturn in investor confidence in PPMs for a variety of factors.
