The care & feeding of your staff

Article Abstract:

Doctors should maintain communications with office staff, delegate authority, support teamwork, and learn good management techniques, according to the book, 'User-Friendly Psychology for Managing Your Medical Practice,' by Roger Reid and Alys Novak. They recommend employing an administrator who is not a physician. Also, physicians should admit they do not know everything, thereby opening the door to good communications.
