The daily NHS successes do not make good media headlines

Article Abstract:

The difficulty that the NHS in England faces in convincing the British public of its utility and effectiveness is more the result of a sensationalist press that prefers to highlight the problems of the service but has little interest in reporting on its many and varied successes. One remedy is for the members of the nursing profession to occasionally boast about their achievements and let the public witness the positive side of the service.

It's not lack of care but lack of resources

Article Abstract:

The BBC Panorama Programme Undercover Nurse, described the London nurses as unprofessional and not caring towards the older patients. The few resources and high demand of the seriously ill patients make it difficult for the nurses to operate efficiently as a result of which the ideal quality which they want has become a mere pipe dream.
