The truth about colds and flu

Article Abstract:

Employers can prevent significant losses in productivity caused by employee absences due to cold and flu by educating employees about transmission and offering flu vaccines. Colds are mild upper respiratory infections which are often caused by rhinoviruses. The flu, on the other hand, is an acute respiratory infection caused by types A, B and C flu viruses. The cold virus spreads by hand while flu viruses are spread by air.

The product roster lists various types of hygiene services and products such as chemical dosimeters, asbestos, analytical services, antiseptics, alcohol breath testers, and xylene monitors. Some of the companies included in the list are Assay Technology, ACS International, Advanced Specialty Gas Equipment, and Alcohol Testing and Certification.

You better shop around for ergonomic products

Article Abstract:

A safe and comfortable work environment requires the use of ergonomically designed equipment. An ergonomic product is designed for safe and efficient use by people in a specific situation. To correctly shop for products that are ergonomically sound, one must know the users and their capabilities, the tasks that they are to perform and the manufacturer and its products.
