Courtwright points to the fact that social problems such as drug abuse and violent crime are prevalent among young, single men. A man with a wife and kids is more apt to be thoughtful before acting aggressively. Religious women are more likely to discourage destructive behavior.

When words collide

Article Abstract:

'Begging the question' is an excellent way to respond to any line of reasoning. Using syllogisms is a good way to destroy the credibility of someone's argument. Rephrasing someone's argument in grossly simplified terms is also effective.
