A study is conducted to determine whether colposcopically directed biopsy is a necessary step in the evaluation of patients with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions. The colposcopically directed loop electrosurgical excisional procedure after a high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion Papanicolaou test may reduce the time interval between diagnosis and treatment.

Coenzyme Q10 and lipid-related gene induction in HeLa cells

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to investigate the cellular and molecular effects of 30 mu mol/L Coenzyme Q10 in /HeLa cells. Coenzyme Q10 inhibited cell growth and led to apoptosis and the microarray analysis indicate that 264 sequences are altered over time, with enrichment in lipid-related genes.
