Vitamin E: promising, but don't take its reputation to heart yet

Article Abstract:

Several research studies found evidence that taking large doses of Vitamin E may help reduce the risk of heart disease, especially among those who already suffer from the disease. However, more research is needed to confirm this finding, and patients should not consume more than 1,080 IU daily.

Vitamin D: Individualize your dose

Article Abstract:

The importance of Vitamin D in keeping the bone in good shape and the effects of low vitamin D on health aside from bones are discussed. Some food and dietary supplements rich in Vitamin D are salmon, cooked mackerel, sardines, tuna fish, milk and eggs.
