Water shortage: you can't train effectively if you don't drink enough

Article Abstract:

A survey of the drinking habits of Americans shows that their intake of hydrating beverages is offset by their intake of dehydrating drinks. Athletes who do not want their training to be compromised by dehydration should take hydrating fluids to prevent making a lot of stops just to drink.
