"We need to be savvy in computer literacy and in managing information"

Article Abstract:

Surveys highlight the fact that the nursing fraternity is not fully engaged with the National Program for IT (NPIT) as it is considered the only way to document patient care in the future, besides supporting working tools such as cardiac monitor with automatic diagnosis, or the infusion pump that indicates a blockage. Nurses have to become savvy not only in computer literacy but also in the management of information.
