Web-based behavioral surveillance among men who have sex with men: a comparison of online and offline samples in London, UK

Article Abstract:

The social, demographic, and behavioral characteristics of men who have sex with men surveyed online and offline in London, UK is investigated. The results suggested that men recruited online were more likely to report high-risk sexual behavior than men surveyed offline and also men recruited online were more likely to have used the Internet to look for sex.

Increases in HIV-related sexual risk behavior among community samples of gay men in London and Glasgow: How do they compare?

Article Abstract:

Trends in sexual risk among gay men in the largest city in England, London and the largest city in Scotland, Glasgow are compared. The results conclude that city-specific factors should be considered in the development of appropriate sexual health interventions.

Combination therapies for HIV and sexual risk behavior among gay men

Article Abstract:

Many gay men may believe that new treatments for AIDS will protect them even if they engage in risky sexual behavior. In a study of 773 gay men, HIV-negative men were more likely to have this attitude than HIV-positive men.
