What could we do with a 500-year lifespan?

Article Abstract:

Scientists have found that by tweaking certain genes and hormones in earthworms they can extend their life span by previously unimagined lengths. An attempt is made to look into the future to forecast the way of life in case the lifespan really increases by 500 years.
