Zone defense

Article Abstract:

The highways, which are under repair, pose a serious threat for both the workers as well as the passing motorists. According to the estimates of National Highway Traffic Safety Administration more than 40,000 people suffered serious injuries, 1,079 deaths occurred in 2001 in work zones. Designing safety programs and coordinated effort of people as well as the companies involved in road construction to avoid accidents in work zones are suggested.
