Feasibility of more frequent reporting: a field study informed survey of in-company accounting and IT professionals

Article Abstract:

A survey of three publicly traded firms reveals that 10.6 percent of in-company accounting professionals are receptive to releasing financial statements more frequent than the standard quarterly reports and that 12.7 percent are receptive to monthly reporting.
