The role of creativity within best practice manufacturing

Article Abstract:

The full potential of benchmarking and business process re-engineering can not be reached if conventional wisdom continues to pervade in the manufacturing sector. Best practice manufacturing is directly associated with creativity, so management should be introduced to first stage thinking. Management should be prepared to meet the requirements of creativity, which include forgiveness, curiosity and an unconditional positive regard.
