Bauer is an influential crusader for what he calls 'pro-family, pro-life, pro-free-enterprise' agenda of the Christian right. He encourages laws that prohibit abortion, assisted suicide and same-sex marriage, and supports statutes that would allow prayer and religious education in public schools.

Laybourne, Geraldine

Article Abstract:

The remarkable success of Nickelodeon as the cable channel for kids was due to the diligent research of Laybourne. In addition, Laybourne took risks such as making the channel produce its own shows and accepting commercial advertising. In early 1998, Laybourne established Oxygen Media.
