Calloway, Cab

Article Abstract:

Orchestra leader and singer Cab Calloway died on Nov. 18, 1994 in Hosckessin, DE. He was one of the last famous leaders of the Big Band era. He contributed to the development of scat singing and the improvisation of nonsense lyrics.
