Edna Buchanan is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who initially became famous as a police reporter for the Miami Herald before deciding to be a novelist. Buchanan tried writing fiction following her best seller work in 1987 entitled, "The Corpse Had a Familiar Face."
