Dick Ebersol is the president of NBC Sports and responsible for the overall television production of the 1996 Olympics. He began his broadcasting career at ABC and moved to NBC in 1974. After two departures and returns to NBC he was named president of NBC Sports in 1989. He changed sports coverage.

Gumbel, Greg

Sportscaster Greg Gumbel has been the host of NBC's football pregame show, 'NFL on NBC,' since 1994 when he switched over from CBS. Gumbel, whose younger brother Bryant is host of NBC's 'Today Show,' first made a name for himself as one of the original hosts of ESPN's 'SportsCenter' in 1981.
