Tice, an acclaimed photographer known for his ability to capture the spirit of a place, documented the American landscape and its people in images and published more than a dozen collections of his works. He has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and National Endowment for the Arts and his work continues to be shown at exhibits and retrospectives throughout the United States.
