Polish filmmaker Krzysztof Kieslowski won critical acclaim for his films such as 'The Double Life of Veronique,''Three Colors' and 'Decalogue.' He was born on Jun. 27, 1941 in Warsaw and began his film career by directing 'From the City of Lodz' after graduating from the Lodz film school in 1969.

Katzenberg, Jeffrey

Dream Works co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg was born in 1950 in Manhattan, NY, and studied at New York University in 1972, where he dropped out during his sophomore year. Prior to founding DreamWorks in 1994, Katzenberg served with Michael Eisner in Walt Disney Co. and Paramount Pictures.
