Jaron Lanier, a New York City-born computer scientist and musician is sometimes described as "the wizard of odd." He is known for his pioneering contributions to computer technology. He is also responsible for the introduction of the creative potential of computers such as virtual reality.

Young, Neil

Article Abstract:

Neil Young started his career as a musician in the middle of 1960s and continues to release albums in the 1990s. His recording for the title track of the 1993 movie "Philadelphia" won him an Oscar nomination. Young actively champions numerous causes for the handicapped.
