Louis Richard Rukeyser, journalist, broadcaster, and financial and economic analyst, made accessible the gray and complex worlds of finance and economics to millions of lay Americans through his witty and commonsense approach. Rukeyser was one of the pioneers of electronic journalism, the creator and host of the first, highest-rated, and most durable of the television programs focused on business and the stock market, namely "Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser".
