Paris, France-born Claude Nuridsany and Marie Perennou are filmakers who specialize in movies about biology. The two biologists met and wed in while taking their master's degrees in biology at the University of Paris in 1969. They are known for the film "Microcosmos" which won the grand prize for technical achievement at the 1996 Cannes Film festival.
