Rose Marie Bravo, CEO of Burberry Ltd.

Article Abstract:

Rose Marie Bravo was born on January 13, 1951 and is currently the CEO of Burberry Limited, London, England. After becoming the CEO of Burberry Ltd. of London, in 1997, Bravo revived the company by turning the once-floundering firm into an upscale label with products perceived as symbols of both high socioeconomic status and 'street cred', attracting a new, younger clientele without losing the older.

He inspired admiration and loyalty among his colleagues and during his tenure as an executive editor he completely changed the format of the paper and added color photographs, while helping to improve the circulation of the paper as well.

Levine, Mel

Article Abstract:

Mel Levine, a pediatrician and an educator dedicated more that three decades studying the learning patterns of children who are disabled, wrote many books for professionals, while also building a successful career in the garment industry. The programs conducted by Levine involved praising children for their strengths and discouraging the traditional labeling of children as disordered.
