Sosa will be remembered for his glittering performance in the 1998 baseball season. It was his finest season in terms of hits, batting average, runs battled and walks drawn. He was the prince as he hit 66 home runs, second only to king Mark McGwire who hit 70, the new home-run record since 1961.

Piazza, Mike

Article Abstract:

Piazza is considered as the greatest hitting catcher in baseball history. He was born in Norristown, PA, in 1968. He started with the LA Dodgers in 1988 and later went on to join the Florida Marlins, then finally the New York Mets.
