Stahl, Lesley

Article Abstract:

Stahl, who was born in 1941 in Lynn, MA, decided to become a reporter after quitting a graduate program in zoology and starting a job as assistant to former New York Mayor John V. Lindsay's speechwriter. Her mother's advice to learn to take risks had a strong influence on Stahl's career.

Kroft, Steve

Article Abstract:

Kroft joined CBS in 1980 after working as an investigative reporter for several TV stations. He travelled extensively to cover major international news stories for the network. In 1989 he was named co-editor of the prestigious '60 Minutes.' Kroft's work for the program is described.
