Trenton Doyle Hancock, Artist

Article Abstract:

Trenton Doyle Hancock, one of the best-known artists of his generation, has built his reputation by combining images and narratives to form fine-art comic books. In 2003 he was featured on the PBS series Art: 21, which introduces viewers to representative contemporary artists and since then he continued to maintain the cartoony quality of his art, integrating his characters into a mythological-style narrative.
