A history of Anigua and Barbuda

Article Abstract:

A brief history and demography of the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda is related. Antigua became independent from the UK Nov 1, 1981. Barbuda later joined it. Antigua's first stamps were issued in 1862. Since 1973 the name of Barbuda is overprinted on all stamps.

Baha'i: an independent religion

In Feb 1993, Israel issued a stamp to commemorate the Bahai faith, founded in 1844. It is the second largest faith. Tenets and a brief history of the faith are described.
