Article Abstract:

San Jose State University in San Jose, CA was the site of the first day issues for the bulk stamps. The stamps were issued on Mar 16, 1996. Last year's nondemoninated coil featured the design of a butte. The 1996 coil design was of a mountain. Some first day covers are described.
