Royal Sahara Jasper

Article Abstract:

The Royal Sahara Jasper (RSJ) was discovered by Janet ad George Sechler in the Sahara Desert, and is mined and excavated by hand. The RSH is highly dense and has uniform hardness, which allows it to have a porcelain finish. Other properties of the RSJ, and how jewelry makers should work with the stone, are discussed.
