A photographer recommends four camera bags that he uses in his work: the Domke F-803 Camera Satchel ($80), the Tenba Traveler P415 ($90), the Tamrac Superlight 6 ($90), and the Domke F-2 ($85). They are varied in weight, materials, size, ease of use and number of zippered compartments. The photographer advises to look in many catalogs before deciding on a bag.

SLR: how good a lens do you need, and how can you tell if you've got it?

Quality lenses are best judged by the results in their focal length and aperture ranges. Because lenses with longer focal lengths have reduce resolution, the expectation for the number of lines a lens can resolve at all apertures also has to be decreased.
