Cutting stone beads

Article Abstract:

Stone beads can be shaped and cut with the use of a dial caliper, flat lap, carpenter's square, trim saw and drill press. The type of bead making technique used is important, since a distinct difference is seen in the finished product. Step by step instructions are presented.

Buttons & beads bracelet: beginner seed bead project

Article Abstract:

Techniques in making colorful beadwork are presented. The process involves 11 steps while colorful buttons, beads, muted classy colors with antique buttons, elegant golds and silvers and fancy modern buttons can be used. For the sample, aqua-lined cube beads were used.
