Article Abstract:

For the photographer who is primarily interested in loading photographic images into a computer a film scanner is more useful than a flatbed scanner. Nine film scanners that range in price from $350 to $2,995 are reviewed for color accuracy, image quality, and amount of time to process are measured.

Article Abstract:

The Kodak Ektar 25, Konica Impresa and Agfa Ultra color negative films offer top performance in color rendition, enlargeability and fine grain areas of printing. None has an ISO higher than 50. In terms of resolving power, Kodak produces a power of 200 lines, Konica 160 lines and Agfa 140 lines.
