Flux

Article Abstract:

Flux is a paste compound which is necessary in the process of soldering metals. The three types of flux are the liquid, paste and the borax cone. The liquid type should be used in soldering seams where the metal contact is minimal. The paste type is used on large metal surfaces.

Tools for metal texturing

Article Abstract:

Directions for making metal texturing tools to be used to make jewelry are presented. The project is considered a beginner-to-intermediate project, and requires a ruler, torch, files, tool steel, a polishing motor and vise-grip pliers.
