Getting into 4X5: no it's not that complicated, and it's a lot cheaper than you think

Article Abstract:

4X5, or view cameras, can take certain types of pictures better than more conventional cameras. However, 4X5 cameras have a reputation that they are expensive. Eighteen view cameras priced under $2000 are evaluated. The $1416 Arca-Swiss Discovery is recommended.

Getting into 4x5

Photography enthusiasts often switch to 4x5 cameras to escape the limitations of 35mm cameras. The 4x5s are initially intimidating to amateur photographers, but once the new equipment is learned they will be provided with a greater photography experience.

For better indoor lighting, try small studio flash
