The 65-footer Monte Fino cruiser served as a luxurious vehicle for examining one of Florida's greatest environmental problem which is the degradation of the Everglades. The degradation is attributed to the deadly runoff caused by agricultural and industrial wastes disposed along the Okeechobee River.

Lake Boating
Article Abstract:
Boaters should take into account the different conditions and rules that apply to freshwater cruising. Lake boating is different from boating in salt water on the coasts since the Great Lakes can produce waves dangerous to ships. Environmental laws on recreational boating should be enforced.
