Since the goal of the USPS is to provide efficient service for the delivery of mail, it should not be in the stamp collecting business and issue products towards that end. Suggestions are offered for guiding the USPS if it is to remain in the collectibles business.

First day covers to be sold by postal service

Article Abstract:

The US Postal Service is selling first day covers of the Joe Louis stamp, the legends of rock and roll stamps and the Broadway musical stamps. The covers will have cancellation stamps with the date and city of issue.
