Healthcare climate for artists

Article Abstract:

A survey conducted to study the percentage of insured artists, revealed that as much as 37 percent of artists who carry health insurance, pay for it out of their craft or art business. The mounting medical bills and loss of income can force the artists out of their art business and into a less-satisfying office job and therefore a growing need for organizations that offer health insurance plans as a part of their membership is stressed upon.

Who are the privileged class who sail past the "wholesale only" signs to find the bargains at shows? And if you're one of those privileged few, how do you prove it?

Article Abstract:

It is stated that wholesale buying has more to do with volume than anything else, and as a result people may already be buying wholesale. If one is beginning to sell to craft stores, bead shops, and at fairs, then one should think in buying supplies in wholesale, is suggested.
