Testing amber using kitchen chemistry

Article Abstract:

A six-step process of testing the authenticity of amber is presented. The materials needed for this project are salt, a hand lens, a scalpel, a hot needle, Swiss Army knife, a vise, a strong magnifying glass and a wine cork.
