Kodak has released its Portra films for professional photographers and featured is a rundown of each type along with their strong points. This type of film delivers outstanding quality of picture with clear skin tones and vibrant colors. These films include Portra 160 Normal Color (NC), Portra 160 Vivid Color (VC), Portra 400 Normal Color (NC) and the Portra 400 Vivid Color (VC). The results from a field test conducted with the usage of these films are given.

There are nine APS films on the market, all of which compare favorably to 35mm films. Fuji Smart Film was judged best of the ISO 100 films and tied with Kodak Advantix in the 200-speed category. Out of four ISO 400 films, Kodak's is preferred for portraits and Fuji for colorful shots.
