Korea shows value increases

Stamps from Korea are among the most valuable listing in the fourth volume of the 1994 Scott postage stamp catalogue, which lists countries beginning with the letters J-Q. Macao and Lebanon also have valuable stamps. Other countries' stamp values are presented.

Germany, Italy show dramatic differences
Article Abstract:
Stamps from ten countries that previously had only values for hinged stamps now have values for never-hinged stamps. German and Italian stamps show far greater value for never-hinged than for hinged stamps. Values of stamps from other countries are presented.

History of rare 2 cent laid paper

Canada's 1868 2 cent stamp printed on laid paper is valued at $55,000 used, although a dealer is offering $100,000 for a stamp in good condition. Laid paper has a pattern while wove paper does not. The brief history of Canada's laid paper stamps is provided.
