Mineral kingdom mentors: 2003 sees a slate of new inductees to the National Rockhound and Lapidary Hall of Fame

Article Abstract:

The National Rockhound and Lapidary Hall of Fame is proud to honor six new inductees in the divisions of lapidary, minerals, fossils, jewelry, education for 2003 who have given outstanding help to amateurs and professionals for many years, giving them time and expertise. Dr Steven Chamberlain is the new inductee in the Mineral Division and was nominated by The Eastern Federation of Mineralogical and Lapidary Societies.

A host of modern artists sets up for a new show based on floral theme at the home of one of the countryEs leading permanent jewelry collections in medieval galleries. This gives a great opportunity for jewelry artists to get recognition in museum and for patrons to see a broader range of jewelry.

The Hall of fame is a non-profit educational organization located in Murdo, South Dakota. Eight high caliber, achievers and mentors are welcomed at the National Hall of fame. The items made by the artists or donated in their honor are displayed.
