Minolta Maxxum 9xi

The Minolta Maxxum 9xi, price at $1,197 for the camera body only, has added the depth-of-field-preview and PC flash terminal that were missing in the 7xi model. It has a motor drive that can advance film frames at a rate of 4.5 per second. Overall, it is an outstanding camera for professionals.

Minolta Maxxum 600si

Minolta has introduced a new single-lens reflex camera that features simple manual and automatic controls for exposure, bracketing and speed. The Maxxum 600si also allows a depth-of-field preview, flash control and a wide range of shutter speeds.

Minolta Maxxum 7xi

The Minolta 7xi has the largest autofocus area of any SLR camera. Its pop-up through-the-lens flash can accommodate a 28mm lens. A wide-angle preview button shows the area outside of the picture frame. List price for the camera body is $487.
