Tugtupite: An impressionable gem

Article Abstract:

The impressionable gem, Tugtupite, was discovered in the 1950s in Greenland and was initially wrongly thought to be a beryllium-rich variety of sodalite. It is a valid species in its own right with characteristics peculiar to itself, such as a reversible change of color in and out of sunlight and an extraordinary fluorescence.
