Sigma 28mm f/1.8 AF

Article Abstract:

The Sigma 28mm f/1.8 AF, priced at $315, demonstrated reliable close-up work due to a floating, focus system and aspheric lens element. Slide images were sharp, but barrel distortion was evident. Flare and ghosting were noticeable under backlight conditions.

Sigma 70-210mm f/2.8 APO AF

Article Abstract:

The Sigma 70-210mm f/2.8 APO AF lens, priced at $998, is one of the best telephoto lenses in this focal length range. There is some field curvature at each extreme focal length along with other minor visual limitations, but the lens produces sharp images.
