Silver braided ring: Setting a stone in an art clay ring

Article Abstract:

Art clay silver, when fired at a high temperature, the binder and the water burn away and the metal sinters to create fine silver (99.9%) or gold (22K), of which two brands are mentioned. The steps to make a braided ring with a skill level of 2 out of 3 are demonstrated.
