Stamp clubs resume

Joining a philatelic club can offer social and educational opportunities to stamp collectors. Ways to find stamp clubs include inquiring at stamp stores, reading the newspaper events schedules and contacting the American Philatelic Society. Common practices in stamp clubs are presented.

Postage stamps can be repaired or altered to appear more valuable than they truly are. Several ways to detect whether or not a stamp has been reperforated, regummed, trimmed or repaired are described.
